Here’s a new feedback today from customer who purchased Advanced ROM for DX220. He shared his feedback after using free version for a while.
Apollo is quite good. It is more neutral than mango. Mango has increase booster in mid band region, focusing in vocal and the downside, it makes sound a bit muffled.
Overall your Advanced Rom improve clarity, blacker background, deeper staging. Good job.

Apollo included in Purist ROM is a custom built version with my own code optimizations to improve sound quality. Feel free to try it and happy listening. 🙂

I did the switch ROMs test. 🙂 You are right, the advanced ROM is better!! I overall sound is more clear! I listened to a few songs in basic version and switched back to advanced. The difference was audible. I cannot understand why I was so disappointed in the first place.
The only I can think of is sound stage. I was impressed with basic’s sound stage. In advanced ROM I think it narrows the depth. Better Depth I hear with filter 5, My favorite. I also use no 2 No 7 is too stiff for My ears. Surely you have done a very good job Keetakawee!

Some improvements may sound subtle at first but after you listen to new improvements for a while, it’d be easier to notice the absent of new improvements. 🙂

I’m very impressed what the software (especially Pro version) can do in an already pretty good sounding 30K+ € high end system.
First impressions during a couple of hours of listening Plus vs Pro :
Greater detail and darker more quiet background
Better image depth and somewhat more spacious atmosphere
Greater presence in vocals
Stronger midrange
Cleaner bass resolution and more “punch” without touching gainSeems like the core isolation does some good things to further improve the clarity of music playback.
I used the Purist setting with Network Player (Hope this is right when using Tidal desktop application with MQA decoding on my PC)
All in all, Fidelizer is a superb tool to improve the total quality of playback through my PC and Windows and well worth the money.
It’s really good to hear detailed feedback between Plus and Pro version in high end system. $30 USD more is highly recommended for Fidelizer Plus users. 🙂

I have only just started to listen to this modded AMP8,and it sounds surreal. I just wanted to listen few songs for testing, ended by using 2hours! This is something, glad I took a chance with this, well paid for!!!
