Fidelizer on Windows 10 v1909 (November 2019 Update) Update Report

Hello everyone. Windows 10 v1909 update was out on another day. It still has the same kernel base 19H1 so 20H1 will not be out any time soon. Usually when they launch minor update from v1x03 to v1x09, it usually sound worse so I hope it’s not that bad.

Now that v1909 is updated, the first impression I noticed is more mid-bass being present. It may sound little smoother but significant level of micro detail and transparency are lost. Bass is also a bit excessive affecting midrange as well. If you’re a serious audiophile, you should stay with v1903.

On positive notes, this update can provide more synergy and fun factors for entry to mid level systems. v1903 was awesome and has very high potentials with optimizations on server kernel tweaks. v1909’s excessive bass was hard for me to praise though.

  1. Threshold (v1507) – By very small margin
  2. Threshold 2 (v1511) / May 2019 Update (v1903)
  3. Spring Creators Update (v1803)
  4. November 2019 Update (v1909)
  5. October 2018 Update (v1809)
  6. Creators Update (v1703)
  7. Fall Creators Update (v1709)
  8. Anniversary Edition (v1607)

This is the best update after Threshold line for sure. I highly recommend every audiophile to apply this Windows 10 whenever possible and don’t forget to re-apply Fidelizer Pro optimizations after major Windows Update to make sure Fidelizer is running with 100% optimizations. 🙂

Added EtherStream feedback from James Daras

EtherStream - Main

Here’s another feedback today from early customer who purchased Nimitra and Nikola before. He ordered EtherStream before official launch when he asked for switch advice.

I put the Aqvox switch back in just to do a little test while my hearing senses were peaked. Not much of a comparison even though I also noted that the AQ was far superior to off the shelf switch. Your new switch, which I hope is the same as the EtherStream, showed it’s stuff in harmonic detail and, where I notice the analog/digital difference most, in defined bass. I’m partial to Kind of Blue for that bass articulation. I have an original LP pressing at 45 rpm which is staggeringly good and there’s a clear difference in the digital version between the AQ and EtherStream…very clear. That’s as far as I’ve gone and the EtherStream is a permanent fixture.

This is the first feedback after launching EtherStream. His feedback describes what I really like with EtherStream so well. 🙂

Added testimonial from Adrian Schuster (JPLAY/AudiophileOptimizer)

Here’s a new feedback today. I found his old feedback shared during first version of Fidelizer 8 upgrade with JPLAY/AudiophileOptimizer as below.

Hello Keetakawee,

many thanks and congratulations: To be honest I did not expect very much, just wanted to stay up-to-date. But Fidelizer 8 brought about a significant improvement on my audio PC (2 PC setup, both WS 2016 core mode, AO 2.20 beta 5, jplay, minimserver, Kazoo). Mids seem to be more detailed, and listening is definitely more relaxed…

Thanks again and regards
Adrian

If you’re still using older version of Fidelizer, I highly recommend to upgrade to new version for better sound quality and happy listening. 🙂

Thank you for supporting EtherStream Network Switch with 16 units sold in first week (38 including pre-global)

EtherStream - Main

First of all, I’m very thankful to understanding clients. I gave a lot of thoughts whether I should launch this solution as a product or not because it can lead to controversial topics. With encouragement from friends and clients in Thailand, I decided to publish it as a product.

Learning from mistakes in Nikola that I couldn’t deliver product to local retailers in timely fashion, I tried to sell products to local retailers first until they get enough for their clients. I didn’t expect to sell over 20 units before global launch as audiophile network switch is quite new in Thailand.

The first EtherStream order was sold in June 2019 to one local NimitraS client who happened to ask about network switch upgrade when I was improving streaming media with network switch modification. After that, I brought to many rooms testing many applications. I also tested with my dad’s TV too.

Some may consider EtherStream as a simply cash grab network switch mods at glance. If you read behind my story in product page, you can see I also put a lot of effort with many products in market for years. I wouldn’t push something if it’s not more effective than what I can already buy myself.

Launching EtherStream product reminds me when I first started sharing Fidelizer software. I faced the similar hardship again and I’m mentally prepared to be misunderstood for a while this time. I’m glad to know that I have you guys support. EtherStream will certainly make you smile. 🙂
