Thank you for all the help! The German keyboard is working, and also AnyDesk. After my first few days of listening to familiar recordings I can safely say that the Nimitra sounds truly wonderful. The difference to my previous PC with Fidelizer Pro is absolutely stunning. The Nimitra has added clarity and detail resolution, while sounding also richer, smoother and more natural at the same time. The sound stage is more real by a huge factor. You can really imagine the reverb coming from a room, rather than sounding artificial. The instruments sound more immediate (life-like) rather than recorded.

After successful launch of Nimitra and Nikola Signature lineup, I gained a lot of experience and knowledge about building affordable products with better price performance ratio. After a lot of design and listening tests, Classic series of Nimitra and Nikola is finally ready.

The original Nimitra and Nikola have some limitations on pricing and they reached maturity in Signature series later. Classic series has improvements and corrections on original design for 2 years optimizing to get the most from Signature series.

 

Nimitra Classic - computer audio server

 

Nimitra Classic provides full support of Roon Core and Roon Ready with many other features such as DLNA/uPNP, OpenHome (Linn/Lumin), HQPlayer NAA, Airplay, and Squeezebox ready to be used with same optimizations as Signature version with only hardware changes as below.

-Same software features and optimizations as Signature version
-Cost most effective solution for sound quality / features / services
-Compact 1.5mm aluminum thickness chassis for small space
-Cost effective motherboard design with high precision event timer
-Trusted industrial quality components with high reliability

Since audiophile network switch is becoming standards in 2020, WiFi module will not be installed by default for better sound quality. You can choose to install WiFi module if you want to. I can still setup JPLAY and others as optional requests also.

Here’s a new feedback today from a client who ordered a complete set of Nimitra + Nikola Signature with EtherStream. I hope to offer this bundle in next month.

I received the Nimitra today. Thank you very much! I extracted a test CD. Although the Nimitra needs some burning-in, the result is already impressive. I have never heard such clarity and delicateness in the extracted music (I am almost listening to classical music).

Qobuz is back, so I could listen to some favorite pieces of music. Of course, there is no comparison possible with the Bonn N8…. Your switch does a very effective job and it sounds completely different as previously. And, Qobuz becomes worth listening to 🙂

The Bonn N8 has been « offered » by the shop which sold my Linn system. So I had no possibility to compare with something else. Now the comparison is made, and the Bonn N8 is going to be sold very quickly. Thank you again!
