Added Nimitra+Nikola feedback from Richard

Here’s a new feedback today from Fidelizer Nimitra customer. He sent me his feedback after testing Nimitra and Nikola with Roon and JPLAY setup.

I thought I will give you an update of my adventures with Nimira and Nikola. It runs very stable. Some times after a driver switch a DAC clock locking problem occurs but that is fixed by a restart or some more switching.
Roon runs very stable and also with JPLAY as driver / output. JPLAY Server and Kazoo runs stable (slow on the remote). I guess to much files and albums. Latest update did not solve all the performance issues.

Than at last where everything started with. Sound wise Nimitra is for me an end game solution.
I am not going to describe my experience in subjective terms but I am very happy with it and I do not need anything better. I can alter the sound it a little bit with different USB cables, drivers or the player. It’s a matter of taste but it sounds always good.

Roon performs sound wise also very nice. Comparing Roon to Jplay is not that easy. I like them both and I can use them both. Luxury problem that I am very happy with.

Using Nimitra computer audio server and Nikola linear power supply can be end game setup for many audiophiles. 🙂

Here’s another feedback today from Fidelizer Nimitra customer. This PSU is specially built for his 19V requirements so I later added 15V / 19V support for Nikola.

Just to let you know, the Nikola LPS arrived today. Have been listening to it for a while and I love it! Perhaps it needs some burn in time, but my first impression is that the sound stage is wider, the keyboard on one track was much natural sounding, the vocals less noisy and stable.

The Nikola is definitely very enjoyable in terms of musical experience. However, It’s just the beginning.. so I shall continue with the exploration.

PS: Thanks for being very flexible in building a 19V version for me.

Here’s a new feedback today from Fidelizer Nimitra customer. He used customized PC as a dedicated audio server before and decided to take Nimitra+Nikola recently.

Nimitra/Nikola is a clear winner in my system; this innovative system represents a step change in performance. Compared with my ‘tuned’ laptop audio-PC, Nimitra/Nikola is clearly the better music machine. Higher level of detail, transparency and tonal richness. Deep soundstage, solid bass and iron control playing complex music, across all genres. The Nimitra/Nikola system moves focus from Hi-Fi to the world of music and represent excellent value for money. After launching Nikola Linear Power Supply, we’ve been shipping Nimitra Computer Audio Server and Nikola for every week. Thank you so much for supporting us and I’ve been shipping every unit we can without delay so far.

After getting inquiries and orders for a while, I noticed some people often asked me about comparing Nimitra to other highend servers. I decided to change some context in reviews so they can see for themselves.

As for Nikola power supply, some people requested me to build 15V and 19V ones so I decided to add 15V and 19V support. I also added micro USB 2.0 connector output option to use Nikola as highend mobile charger.

Since Nikola will have transformer built for optimal voltage range, we will order transformer with specific output voltage. We don’t use the same transformer we built for 12V or 5V to get the ideal output.

I am listening to the Kazoo JPLAYSTREAMING on HUGO through HIFIMANN 1000v2 headphones and the sound is truly magical!

I am sure I will still need some handholding later on but for now everything is quite wonderful.
