It has now become an essential piece of equipment that can’t be removed. Aside from delivering better and quieter sound by reducing the number of connection points and upgrading the internal components to an even higher grade (I later learned that several parts had been changed and their quality significantly improved), it also adds convenience and resolves various pain points — for example, reducing the number of power cables, both the AC input and the DC (12V output), which can now be used directly with the EtherStream2 router and the Internet Service Provider’s router. Moreover, the new chassis is more stable and solid, making it easier to plug in LAN cables. Thanks to the manufacturer for listening to the consumers.

On Christmas night in year 2024, I had a dinner with my audiophile friend who purchased EtherStream2 network switch and Nikola2 linear power supply to upgrade from previous highend network switch and use with his dCS Vivaldi One streaming CD player.
