Hi Keetakawee,

Fidelizer 8.10 released – Improved core isolation optimization and compatibility with ExerciseStabilizer/ExtremeStabilizer

Fidelizer Pro

After releasing Fidelizer 8.9 with some changes to support more cases, I realized two things from customer’s feedback. First is no feedback from customers configuring processor to have specific cores turned off. Next is some people prefer 8.8 sound.

After realizing how this new change doesn’t actually improve customer’s satisfaction, I changed my approach to fully focus on most common implementation with 2 cores per floating point unit and optimize core isolation to handle physical/logical cores better.

Now non-audio processes won’t touch cores in first FPU and focus more on logical cores if there’s no enforcement to last core only. Media Player Application will focus on physical cores. ExerciseStabilizer/ExtremeStabilizer is now compatible with Fidelizer too.

As a result, Fidelizer 8.10 has reached a new high improving synergy between Windows audio thread, media player applications, and non-audio processes. This update is very important and I highly recommend everyone to install this update.

And here’s a new feedback today. He shared his feedback after receiving upcoming Fidelizer 8.10 Pro update as below.

WOW!

I just installed it, combining it with latest the ExtremeStabilizer/TrustedClean on RAMdisk and tested a lot of different combinations of settings in advanced mode. The final result is amazing! I’m using HQplayer with a Topping E30 DAC, upsampling to DSD 512. On advanced Purist I have everything at the bottom off except the last entry, the Multimedia optimization. Then I use 0.5 ms timer, Fidelizer option 1 (long/fixed) and the performance CPU option with non-audio on 1 core. It’s incredible how much better it sounds. Thank you so much for your help and this wonderful program.

Hello Keetakawee!

Thanks for Fidelizer 8.10. I liked your work again, I don’t even know (maybe self-hypnosis). And again I heard more space, airiness, volume.

Sincerely, Terekhov Igor

Here’s his original testimonial in Russian.

Здравствуйте Keetakawee!

Спасибо за Fidelizer 8.10. Мне опять понравилась Ваша работа, даже не знаю (может самовнушение). И снова я услышал больше пространства, воздушности, объёмности.

С уважением, Терехов Игорь

And here’s a new feedback today. He shared his feedback after receiving upcoming Fidelizer 8.10 Plus update as below.

Hello again –

so I haven’t been using Fidelizer for a while. Listened last night…. wow! Even in the context of my very modest set up the improvement is really very dramatic. To be honest I wasn’t even really listening for it, but right away my brain is saying, hmm listen to that! The sheer difference in the timbres of the different instruments, each located in its own space! Amazing.

I just wanted to say how impressed I am and I thought you might be interested to hear feedback from somebody using it in the context, as I say, of a very modest set up. Thank you.

I’m glad to hear that Fidelizer 8.10 update brings very dramatic improvement in his system and happy listening. 🙂
