Added EtherStream feedback from Songkran Neatvachirakul

EtherStream - Main

Here’s another feedback today from local client who purchased EtherStream with my DIY CAT8.1 LAN cable. He sent me his impressions after receiving it today.

Received package today. There’s clearly dramatic changes in sound quality. It’s a lot better.

This is his original message in Thai language before being translated to English.

ได้รับของแล้ว เสียงผิดหูาผิดตาไปเลยคับ ดีขึ้นคับ

He mainly listen to music from Spotify streaming services so EtherStream can be very effective even with lossy format. Highly recommended for all media streaming services. 🙂

EtherStream Network Switch review on Positive Feedback by Tom Gibbs

EtherStream - Main

The first review for EtherStream Network Switch is finally published. It was reviewed by Tom Gibbs who review Fidelizer 6 software years back. At the time most people were skeptical towards software optimizations and I’m thankful he gave Fidelizer a chance in his system.

After EtherStream product design is finalized, I sent units to early reviewers to reviewed Fidelizer software before. I didn’t expect to have a lot of orders from local dealers so I could send one at the time and Tom Gibbs is the first reviewer who received EtherStream.

EtherStream was thoroughly tested in his systems over there with various scenarios including video streaming which is also very effective. This is his conclusion after months of reviewing product with network related applications.

Positive Feedback

My hat is off to Keetakawee Punpeng for all of his brilliant efforts in the service of improving the streaming quality of Ethernet and digital sources—well done! Years ago, when I first encountered Fidelizer—and based on the prevailing attitudes on the internet audio forums—you’d have to be certifiably mad to even think about chancing its use in your system. When in actuality, he was one of the few really forward looking individuals out there willing to push the envelope and take the chances necessary to improve the quality of digital music playback. That brilliance continues with the EtherStream; the improvements wrought by this unobtrusive device across the entire spectrum of internet-connected devices is staggeringly good. Very highly recommended!

I’m happy to see video applications being mentioned in audio review too. EtherStream is very effective in media streaming applications also so I highly recommend to read his full review and check product information to see how it can be effective in your systems.

Fidelizer uses DHL Express for 2-7 days worldwide shipping service

Hi. After introductory period of EtherStream network switch is over, I received some inquiries about EtherStream having high shipping fee. After looking at products page to order submission, I came to realize that Fidelizer never inform about shipping services.

So today I’d like to explain how Fidelizer manages shipment with products. When we first introduce new hardware products, we offer free shipping for one month and observe how average shipping fee should be.

For EtherStream, it has 1kg weight for shipment fee and cheapest possible shipping will be around $50. For most shipments in Europe, it costed around $60-80 USD and some countries was charged for around $100 too.

So I decided to setup shipment for EtherStream at $65 USD for 1kg product. All other products also have the same process done for standard shipping fee. The price is higher but it’s safe and reliable to ship anywhere in one week without fail.

I hope you can understand why Fidelizer charges shipping fee higher than others. It’s because time and safety are important to make sure products will always arrive in 2-4 weeks after ordering. 🙂

EtherStream - Main

Here’s another feedback today from early Nimitra client with highend system. He ordered 2 units for his friends and shared feedback with his friend’s system in forum.

Tested EtherStream in my friend’s system consisting of expensive cables, Odin 2, CH Precision with PSU, Trinity pre & power amp. Compared to the stock Cisco switch (same as EtherStream’s stock Cisco except 5 ports), major and clearly audible improvement.

In my system with Nimitra Music server with all Vitus Masterpiece components, there was improvement but not as dramatic as in my friend’s system. Probably because his NAS was connected to EtherStream where else my SSD was connected directly to 1 of Nimitra USB port.

I did compare it streaming through Tidal. Even though it better compare to using stock switch, I prefer the SQ streaming through local files. How good is Nimitra? Not bad at all considering the price. I used to play with Aurender W20 connected to MSB Selectl. For reference.

This is just my opinion. Couldn’t believe a modified switch can make such an impact on SQ.

This is probably the first feedback from ultra highend systems with EtherStream. I’m happy to hear EtherStream making good contribution on other highend systems. 🙂

EtherStream - Main

Here’s a new feedback today from client who purchased EtherStream to use with Fidelizer Nimitra+Nikola server combo. He also find improvements on video streaming too.

Hi Keetakawee,

EtherStream Switch has now been in my system for a couple of weeks. The quality of hires audio streaming is dramatically improved and now very close to playing directly from SSD disk. As a welcome bonus, picture and sound quality for TV and video streaming is also significantly better. This is by far the best value for money audio/video upgrade I have ever done.

Best regards
Kjell

I’m happy to hear that he finds improvements with EtherStream as I intended to build for. EtherStream is the most effective upgrade to for streaming media applications. 🙂
