I’m currently developing Purist ROM update for iBasso DX150 Oreo ROM right now and currently testing with some testers. Today I received an order for Calyx M device so I decided to launch this today. I’ll release DX150 Oreo ROM version later soon.

 

There’s a lot of improvements for Advanced ROM and I also added Enhanced ROM into collection too. Please read Portable Products for more details including Fidelizer Mod project with 3 modification levels. Happy listening. 🙂

After releasing PerfectDynamics 2.0 update for Fiio X7ii device, it failed to boot up properly despite having the same processor and the same amount of RAM as DX200 I tested before. So it took me a while to fixed this issue and release another one for Fiio X7. 🙂

 

There’s a lot of improvements for Advanced ROM and I also added Enhanced ROM into collection too. Please read Portable Products for more details including Fidelizer Mod project with 3 modification levels. Happy listening. 🙂

Sorry it took a while since last update. There’s a lot going on in December and I also need to build a separated Japanese ROM version 1.0.7 too. Now Enhanced/Advanced ROM with PerfectDynamics 2.0 update is ready for Fiio X7ii and happy new year 2019. 🙂

Added Fiio X5iii Enhanced ROM feedback from Jc Raymundo

Here’s a new feedback today. He was about to sell his Fiio X5iii and decided to try Enhanced ROM for one last attempt.

I almost sold my x5iii and bought an amp/dac but not anymore hehehe thanks!!! its sounds open, way better separation, dynamics and a speed demon now. its absolutely responsive and my 3rd party apps work way better than before.

I’m happy to hear my Purist ROM can help saving a lot of Fiio and iBasso DAPs from being sold and looking forward to provide more Purist ROM services in 2019 too. 🙂

After launching PerfectDynamics for iBasso DX200 which is my reference unit, now it’s time for the most popular DAP Fiio X5iii to receive PerfectDynamics 2.0 Sound Optimizations update.

Since X5iii has Lollipop 5.1.1 ROM, it doesn’t have CPU Set concept which was introduced in Marshmallow 6 ROM, I made other adjustments to help instead. Background tasks will gain more CPU share but real time process will be minimized for quad core. 🙂
