Fidelizer's Next Year Server - 1

Here’s another feedback today. It’s from a special custom Nimitra server with power supply built-in I posted before for next year’s product.

We LOVE the custom Fidelizer Nimitra. We run Roon to HQ Player on the MacBook Pro, then ethernet to Nimitra HQ Player NAA. We upsample PCM to 88khz, unless it is higher res, and upsample all DSD to DSD 128. With the PS Audio DirecStream DAC 24-88 khz sounds better than 24-176 or 24-192. We gave up on the Playback Designs Merlot, the PS Audio sounds more like real music, more full bodied and less clinical, but with all the details.

The Denafrips Terminator DAC will accept DSD 512 so things may change tomorrow!

Here’s a new feedback today. This time it’s our popular Fiio X5iii again with Fidelizer Advanced ROM.

Thank you for your patience. I have been listening to the same tracks that I had on my playlist yesterday. They sound so much warmer and alive. I’ll reload Pandora later today and let you know how it works. The flash was so easy once I had the right computer.

I’m glad to hear Fidelizer Advanced ROM can bring him closer to music. I’m occupied with Fidelizer 8 Upgrade inquiries since releasing and I’ll try to publish more feedback over time. 🙂

Dear Keetakawee,

After about 15 hours of listening to the Advanced – Purist I can say with serenity that now my Fiio x5 Mark 3 has resumed life.

The interface compared to the stock firmware is so much smoother, the sound experience now
it’s from another planet.
Everything is on correct spot, it sounds quietly like my dac cambridge 851d that I paid more than double.

I will definitely return to buy your products.
