Fidelizer has ended an odyssey of hunting down a PC sound problem. I am a music lover for more than 50 years with a preference for rock, blues, rap and everything in between and around. Not the audiophile spending 5-digit sums for equipment, just a computer pro wanting to listen to clear, undisturbed music at home, in the office and in the car. After years of being happy with Spotify and MP3s, the time had come to upgrade to lossless music streaming (Amazon). A no-brainer to switch over, I thought. While it worked as expected on my home music system, the audio via my office PC was a huge disappointment. Instead of the old warm (and fuzzy) sound, I now had a crackling, clipping one. I tried 4 different sound cards and a 2-digit number of active speaker systems to no avail. I circumvented the windows audio stack with different ASIO and WASAPI solutions and tried every possible combination of input and output resolutions. The problem persisted, being worse at higher audio resolutions. Something in the audio chain got overwhelmed by the data stream. I had run out of ideas when I stumbled upon reports on Fidelizer. The concept instantly made sense, especially for my machine with lots of background tasks and open programs. So I took the free version for a ride and there it was – the sound I had searched for. Clear, undisturbed voices, guitars, saxes, harps directly stimulating the endorphine. I did instantly opt for the PRO version. Fidelizer makes such a huge difference in sound quality, I will never again try to set up a PC audio chain without it. Thank you for the fantastic work, Keetakawee.

I’m happy to hear that Fidelizer Pro can make huge difference in sound quality and happy listening. 🙂

Erawan - Cover

Here’s a new feedback today. He shared his feedback after setting up Erawan flagship streamer with Tidal Contros ($60k streaming DAC) for a week as below.

Managed to setup with Tidal Contros DAC and Erawan both connected to EtherStream2, going into Tidal Contriva speakers. Unbelievable improvement! The music has become so much more real.. more dynamic.. more musical. The weight of instruments has increased, bass control has increased, I am suddenly recognizing instruments that I hadn’t heard or paid attention to before. I can go much louder and it just sounds perfect. It’s like both DAC and amp have got upgraded. I have been going through my entire library again to rediscover each song, and it keeps getting better each day since installed the Erawan last week. Pure joy!

I’m happy to hear that Erawan flagship streamer can bring improvement as he’s upgraded both DAC and amp and help him rediscovering the music. 🙂
