Added EtherStream feedback from Philippe Watel

Here’s another feedback from my friend Philippe Watel, founder of MusiCHI software and audio products. He shared his feedback from zero hour to fully burn in.

Brand new not much difference (a bit but not wow)
After 1 hour things started to be improving (time to warm up ?)
and now after 2 weeks (I think capacitors need to brake in) it really shows an improvement: tighter bass, more details, better sound stage in the placement of the instruments.
I connected back my old Dlink switch to make sure and I would not install it back.
So I am very happy with the purchase, if someone has an expensive digital rig, you get an improvement with reasonable investment. totally worth it (it is less than most “audiophile” USB cables).
One thing, though to help the overall sound, I did upgrade ALL my ethernet cable to cat8, and router and switch are powered by low noise linear PSU.

It’s good to see testimonial starting from zero hour to fully burn in. At first I didn’t notice big improvements for local playback too because I developed this to improve quality of streaming services but it got a lot better after fully burn in as well. 🙂

Here’s a new feedback today. He shared his feedback with me after receiving additional Fidelizer Pro license.

Hallo, thank you for your greatest support. Fidelizer works now very well and i get a much better Sound.

I’m happy to hear he likes the improvement with Fidelizer Pro upgrade. It’s one of the best way to get much better sound for less than $100. 🙂

Here’s another feedback today. He sent me his feedback after delivering Fidelizer Pro license upgrade to version 8.

New Fidelizer significant improvement over previous iteration. Thank you. Wish I were still doing reviewing.

It’s been a few years while since the last review. I’m happy to see how Fidelizer is still working fine as fully user driven product. 🙂

Happy New Year 2020 everyone. Here’s the first feedback of the year in this new decade from the most passionate client who also ordered my own personal flagship CAT 8.1 ethernet cable to use with custom highend version of NimitraS server.

Keetakawee,

I tried my EtherStream + Nikola Classic + Flagship CAT 8.1 cable in my Jplay Femto two PC system. A nice step up in sound quality in most respects. Most noticeable is a smoother and more natural sound with more high frequency detail. There is more space around instruments and voices which do seem to hang in space now. Cymbals have more layers of detail and there is more bass extension.

In all it sounds more like a live performance being played out in front of you with more detail than before. Not sure if this sound is getting closer to the studio master tape or if there are more improvements to make? I also tried TIDAL streaming and it does sound closer to locally stored music files.

Regards,
Geoff

This is one of thorough feedback from passionate audiophile for you. I’m happy to hear that he shared his feedback from both local and streaming playback. 🙂

Here’s another feedback today for EtherStream product. He sent me his feedback today after receiving it last night.

Thanks Kee I just received the switch last night. And JESUS CHRIST it made such a big difference in both audio & video quality! I even did a AB comparison with a normal network switch and saw + heard the difference immediately. This is beyond magic.. now u make me feel like getting another one 😀

There’s a good reason why I put modified network switch as a product with 30-day money back guaranteed. It’s my most effective solution to finally make streaming music sounding decent in serious highend systems. 🙂
