Added testimonial from U. Schneider

Here’s another feedback today. He shared his feedback after setting up Fidelizer Pro on his server as below.

I’m an older gentleman with still good hearing who was fed up with all that elitist high-end stuff and was seized by the ambition to build a high-quality desktop system where I could enjoy music and work simultaneously.

That worked quite well under Windows 10, then a new computer arrived and the whole ordeal started again, this time with Windows 11.

Normally, I have nothing good to say about this OS; I think what Microsoft has done is an absolute disgrace. So I installed an extremely stripped-down version and discovered that I like the sound much better than under Windows 10.

I have Audirvana, but honestly? I love MusicBee’s interface and its crisp sound. However, the quality still wasn’t quite right. Using EqualizerApo, as I did under Windows 10, backfired, so I tried the free version of Fidelizer.

That sounded promising, so I bought the Pro version. With it, I could configure my system so that I can really enjoy my music. Technically, my system is far from perfect, but I’m having a lot of fun with it. The music inspires me at work, and during particularly beautiful or interesting passages, I take a break and just listen…

I’m glad to hear that Fidelizer Pro can help him taking a break and just listen to music now. 🙂

CoreStream - Top

Here’s a new feedback today. He shared his feedback after following my recommendation to improve his system performance as below.

Hi,

I have done a number of changes in particular the subwoofer placement to stop room mode excitement and that has made a big difference to the sound. I am now thinking that your server was exposing weakness in the system that running through the laptop didn’t show previously. Anyway, had a good listen yesterday and it was brilliant. Thanks again for all your help and I hope you and yours have a wonderful Christmas.

Kind regards,
Dara

I’m happy to hear that CoreStream + HyperLink + Aura combo can bring significant improvement in his system and happy listening. 🙂

EtherStream2 - Network Switch

Here’s a new feedback today. He shared his feedback after EtherStream2 network switch with Nikola Classic linear power supply for a while as below.

Hi Keetakawee,

Over the past two weeks I have been testing the Etherstream2 and the Nikola Classic linear power supplies, and I also had the opportunity to compare a standard Cisco switch with the Etherstream2. My impressions are the following:

With the Etherstream2, at medium or high listening volumes, the biggest difference I noticed was a better control of the bass and a wider soundstage. Until now, I needed to use Dirac to keep the low frequencies under control. With the Etherstream and the Nikola Classic, I can do without room correction and listen to music in its bit-perfect format, with a more natural presentation, deeper soundstage, and less listening fatigue. I am genuinely very surprised by the excellent results obtained.

Best Regards,
Vicenç

I’m happy to hear that EtherStream2 and Nikola Classic can reduce listening fatigue and control bass better without DSP required. 🙂

Here’s a new feedback today. He shared his feedback after receiving his Fidelizer Pro license as below.

Before writing about my impressions on improvements I want to show you my current settings.

Firstly, I’ve started from Consumer user lever and chose to be with no changes in processor priority policy (Timer resolution and core isolation policy were the same as at pictures). There was a bit less artificial sibilance or roughness, yet I felt the need for more.

So, I switched to Audiophile user lever which further increased naturalness by adding slightly more coherence and transparency. At the same time the dynamic range became more prominent. There was even more texture.

When it came to processor priority policy, I’ve tried almost all options available. The first one was «Short / Variable». Overall, your description was true. Details were very noticeable, yet too accentuated and somewhat sharp which resulted in the loss of musical flow. Also, the space wasn’t big enough. «Short / Fixed» made the sound much better. It was much more natural because of returned smoothness and coherence.

Nevertheless, after I’ve tried «Long / Fixed» there is no way back. Space became both wider and especially deeper which is valuable for me as headphone user. Transparency has been increased as well.

To conclude, I admit your hard work and feel improvements. Thank you a lot for making my listening experience better! Now I’m happy to feel less need for improvements of my audio set up.

I’m glad to hear that Fidelizer Pro helps him feeling less need for improvements of his audio setup and happy listening. 🙂

Lira - Side

Here’s a new feedback today. He shared his feedback after seeing global launch of Lira network station as below.

It has now become an essential piece of equipment that can’t be removed. Aside from delivering better and quieter sound by reducing the number of connection points and upgrading the internal components to an even higher grade (I later learned that several parts had been changed and their quality significantly improved), it also adds convenience and resolves various pain points — for example, reducing the number of power cables, both the AC input and the DC (12V output), which can now be used directly with the EtherStream2 router and the Internet Service Provider’s router. Moreover, the new chassis is more stable and solid, making it easier to plug in LAN cables. Thanks to the manufacturer for listening to the consumers.

And this is his original message in Thai language.

I’m happy to hear that Lira has become an essential piece of equipment that can’t be removed in his system and happy listening. 🙂
