Here’s a new feedback today from customer who purchased Advanced ROM for iBasso DX200 before and decided to try iBasso DX220 with Advanced ROM and Fidelizer Signature Mod. 🙂

Hello, since I wrote you my message this morning, I can say that my headphones do not leave my ears, the sound is really sublime, you did a lot of work, the detail in the instruments is amazing. I feel like I have another dap. And I rediscover my favorite albums with great pleasure. Bravo for your work.

I’m happy to hear that Fidelizer Signature Mod can improve to the point of getting another DAP to rediscover music again. 🙂

Here’s another feedback today. I received his feedback after delivering his Fidelizer Pro license.

I installed it yesterday and it works perfectly. Didn’t have much time to play with settings but the first I tryed sounded really nice. Unfortunately now I will be away from home for a week so I have to wait to I come back to find the right settings.

I’m glad to hear Fidelizer works great with JPLAY Femto today and happy listening. 🙂

Fidelizer - PerfectDynamics Sound Optimizations 2.0

 

For new users, please read about PerfectDynamics 2.0 Sound Optimizations first for new improvements with Fidelizer ROMs.

 

I thought the last release has everything working fine but I was wrong. Tidal application can’t play Tidal Master tracks even with new file update method so I’ll re-base on DX220 ROM image again. If you want Mango OS too, I recommend official 1.0.6 ROM with DX220 MangoPlayer. 🙂

 

-Based on iBasso DX220 firmware version V1.11.140
–Yalp Store is added as Play Store’s alternative (I still keep Google services for those who want to install Play Store through other means)
-Apollo – Fidelity Edition from https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/apollo-music-player-fidelity-edition-t3038629 included
-Revamped MangoPlayer UI with improved user experience
-build.prop tweaks for better video and storage performance and improve battery life
-Audio engine optimized for only audio playback (EQ/Gaplass features work)

Installation Guide

1. Install Rockchip USB driver included in AndroidTool and make sure it shows ‘Found One ADB device’ in AndroidTool software
2. Extract Official Oreo ROM firmware from iBasso to device’s storage and flash from Settings > System > Updater > Local storage
3. After successfully flashing official ROM, go to Settings > System > About tablet and tap “Build number” for 7 times to enable “Developer options”
4. Tap back arrow to enter “Developer options”, enable “USB debugging”, and press OK
5. Connect DX200 to computer with USB connection in Android mode again and press OK to allow USB debugging
6. Download Disable Verity package and run disable_verity.bat file (You may need to authorize USB debugging and run disable verity again if not reboot)
7. After DX200 boots up properly with Verity disabled, turn off device and connect with USB connection to computer while holding play button
8. Open AndroidTool, click on “Upgrade Firmware” tab, click on Firmware button and select update.img extracted from Purist ROM then click Upgrade

 

If you like improvements in Purist ROM, you may upgrade to Enhanced / Advanced ROM for even better sound. Please read Portable Products for more details including iBasso DX200 Fidelizer Mod project with 3 modification levels and happy listening. 🙂

Last release I removed Mango OS due to using native DX220 as base ROM. This time I tried to port DX220 ROM version 1.11.140 using DX200 as base ROM with new technique that seems to be more stable with original Mango OS intact. 🙂
