Here’s another feedback today from a client who ordered EtherStream with Nikola Signature. Nikola Signature also powers his Merging DAC too.
Hi Keetakawee,
Yesterday the package arrived and in the late afternoon i connected the switch and the power supply to the system. With your products I have heard more beautiful sound with both Tidal and Qobuz. First of all, the total absence of any harshness or hardening of the sound message both with classical music and with pop. This is the qualitative point I particularly care about.
It also improves the focus and precision of the outlines of the instruments within the stage now even more transparent and broad. The tonal balance is also more balanced across the entire frequency range. Before this upgrade the music tended to be harsh in the mid-to-high range, giving me fatigue in long listening sessions. I thank you again for your great work.
Regards
Giorgio
I’m happy to hear EtherStream and Nikola Signature combo can improve shortcomings in streaming audio effectively and happy listening. 🙂
Here’s a new feedback today from a client who ordered a complete set of Nimitra + Nikola Signature with EtherStream. I hope to offer this bundle in next month.
I received the Nimitra today. Thank you very much! I extracted a test CD. Although the Nimitra needs some burning-in, the result is already impressive. I have never heard such clarity and delicateness in the extracted music (I am almost listening to classical music).
Qobuz is back, so I could listen to some favorite pieces of music. Of course, there is no comparison possible with the Bonn N8…. Your switch does a very effective job and it sounds completely different as previously. And, Qobuz becomes worth listening to 🙂
The Bonn N8 has been « offered » by the shop which sold my Linn system. So I had no possibility to compare with something else. Now the comparison is made, and the Bonn N8 is going to be sold very quickly. Thank you again!
Regards,
Olivier
This is the first feedback for Nimitra + Nikola Signature combo used as CD ripping device. There’s also feedback about EtherStream with Quboz application to check out too. 🙂
Here’s another feedback today. He shared his feedback after using Fidelizer Pro in online community as below.
I have a very revealing system. A few years back I upgraded my XMOS sound card (USB to i2s) crystals from NDK SD to SDA’s with a noticeable difference. The sound gained details, space, bass definition, the background was darker.
Then I built a balanced, single-ended class A amplifier, DC-coupled (two gain stages only). The overall sound was impressive. I feed audio signal straight of the DAC I/V resistors, and into the amplifier (very high input impedance as well… helps with linearity at high frequencies:))
All along I was working on minimising the switching artifacts coming from the laptop (used as a JRiver streamer), so I was under-clocking the CPU, killing the unnecessary services, playing with the power supply. Every single bit contributed toward a more natural presentation.
Then I came across Fidelizer, and tried a demo version. Initial impression was very positive (immediate improvement in bass definition and darker background, more space as well…). I decide to get the Pro version, and now I am totally hooked on this app. The sound is so satisfying, wide and deep that I feel like I can stand up and walk to each instrument. Stunning.
I will now install Win Server 2016 from the scratch, and then install only the bare minimum (JRiver and the necessary drivers), and then treat it with Fidelizer Pro.
The audio player without network connections profile is infinitely better than any other profile. Option to choose filters is also nice.
The best thing is that the Fidelizer opens the JRiver on bootup and then starts playing the music. Fantastic!
I’m happy to hear that Fidelizer can help feeling the real sound better and happy listening. 🙂
Here’s a new feedback today. He shared me his feedback after receiving Chord Hugo 2 with Fidelizer Masterpiece Mod today.
Hi Keetakawee, I just received the ultimate modded Hugo 2. I tested with my all time favourite superstar MJ <XSCAPE> 24bit 96khz, the mod is impressive for the resolution & bass, MJ vocal is more forward and detailed, & I can hear more percussion background & instrument arrangement on the track. & for the bass, it is more punchy & realistic, & right now I can tune my JH Layla Attenuator from 3pm back to 12pm, in order to feel more on the texture of the bass. The whole presentation is more lively than before, thx for your nice work.
I’ll add Chord Products with Masterpiece Mod officially soon. This month is quite busy with PerfectDynamics update and many projects in making. 🙂
After successful update of DX220 Purist ROM with improved PerfectDynamics, I think should update all tomato based ROMs starting from DX160. 🙂

-Google Play Store added
-Apollo – Fidelity Edition from https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/apollo-music-player-fidelity-edition-t3038629 included
-MangoPlayer app has optimizations applied
-build.prop tweaks for better video and storage performance and improve battery life
-Audio engine optimized for only audio playback (EQ/Gaplass features work)
1. Install Rockchip USB driver included in iBasso DX220Max Upgrade Tool and make sure it shows ‘Found One ADB device’ in AndroidTool software
2. Extract OTA ROM from Official Oreo ROM firmware to DX160’s internal storage and flash from Settings > System > Updater > Local storage
3. After successfully flashing official ROM, go to Settings > System > About tablet and tap “Build number” for 7 times to enable “Developer options”
4. Tap back arrow to enter “Developer options”, enable “USB debugging”, and press OK
5. Connect DX160 to computer with USB connection in Android mode again and press OK to allow USB debugging
6. Download Disable Verity package and run disable_verity.bat file to disable verity and restart (Authorize USB debugging on device and run again)
7. After DX160 boots up properly with Verity disabled, run reset_loader.bat file so you can enter loader mode
8. Open AndroidTool, click on “Upgrade Firmware” tab, click on Firmware button and select update.img extracted from Purist ROM then click Upgrade
For Mac / Linux users, please check this guide for flashing Fidelizer Purist ROM on Mac / Linux instructions.
