Are you computer audiophile? If so, Fidelizer will help you enjoy the music on computer even more.

Fidelizer 7.0 released – Brand new start for real audiophile products

Fidelizer started as a geek software written with personal passion to improve audio performance in Windows. It was really like from geek to geek product that most people would find it hard to use. Although I tried to make it much easier to use since version 6, it still wasn’t easy to use for end user.

So, version 7 will be a brand new start to refresh the focus of Fidelizer, a product designed for audiophiles. There’s a lot of changes in user experience along with audio improvements you’ll never see before as I already promised below.

1. Better user experience – Much easier to use with Optimization Wizard that shows only main features selection with description and UX is professionally done with own materials and design.
2. Improve audio optimizations – Audio optimizations will be revised and improved to suit modern needs better with improved optimizations like Hyper-Threading support for an example.
3. Machine Configuration upgrade – Machine Configuration will be revamped again. Free will have default option, Plus will have 3 options and Pro will have 7 options.
4. Improve Windows 10 services management – Fidelizer will shutdown more Windows 10’s specific services for lower footprints.
5. User experience unified – In past, Pro version handles services in Extremist differently so it’s hard to maintain the usability. Now all 3 versions will follow the same design principles.

There’s some parts in free version I’d like to explain here. Because I received a few reports of the following cases in free version as below:

1. Degraded sound quality in YouTube, Tidal and NAS – They don’t realize that they should select Network Streaming optimization level.
2. Network connection not working after using Fidelizer – I already set keep network services selected by default but some people unchecked it not knowing they’ll lose network connection.

As a result, I decided to revise free version to have default option that works good on both local/network storage and removed stopping network services to avoid future user error cases. I hope you’ll like this major upgrade of Fidelizer.

Fidelizer Plus/Pro users who pre-order Fidelizer 7 Upgrade before should have received a mail about update and download link by now. If you somehow didn’t receive an update notification as I received some delivery failure message too, please contact me for an update with your customer data to verify.

Added testimonial from Joachim Siegmund

Here’s another feedback today. This time it’s from headphone system.

Thank you Keetakawee!

There seems to be a difference. The big picture doesn’t change at first listening, but there are changes in the details.
There is more air (or room information), and the instruments are focused better, having more contour, or more defined “shape”.
This is specially detectable with headphones. Good job!

Thanks,
Joachim

The change may not come as a big surprise but it’ll gradually draw you closer to music. 🙂

Added testimonial from Jacob Land Jensen (JPLAY/Audiophile Optimizer)

Here’s a new feedback today. This time it’s from highend spec machine running with both JPLAY/Audiophile Optimizer.

Hi. First of all would I like to thank you for a great piece of software J

I have a dedicated server with Microsoft Server 2012 R2 64bit. The hardware has been heavily tweaked J Oversized linear power supply, 8*22.000uF cap bank. The motherboard has its own external OCXO precision clock. A dedicated SSD drive for the OS and media software, this SSD has its own external OCXO precision clock. Another SSD drive for the music files, this SSD also has its own external OCXO precision clock. I have also installed a dedicated USB card for USB-SPDIF converter and this card also has its own OCXO precision clock.

My server uses AudiophileOptimizer 1.40 I have also installed JPLAY 6.2 and I run JRiver 20.0.27 as a service and this is my media software. The server has one net card which is connected via cable to my Wi-Fi Router. JRiver plays all files directly from the internal music SSD drive (never via a NAS).

I control JRiver via JRemote on my iPad. Because I use JRiver 20.0.27 can I still use ASIO, so the JRiver “Audio Device” is set to “JPLAY Driver [ASIO]”. I then installed your “Fidelizer Pro” software and did not expect any sound improvement, due to the heavily optimized hardware and software. I was wrong! your software did improve the sound, it removes digital glare which makes the server sound more natural. A very good improvement J I always set the “Optimization Level” for “Extremist” I think that it gives the most natural sound.

Best regards
Jacob Land Jensen

That’s one of the most elaborated setup I’ve heard so far. Glad to know Fidelizer Pro is working great over there.
