Here’s a new feedback today. This time it comes from audiophile with over 45 years of experience listening to music.

As you know I just purchased Fidelizer Pro. I use it with JPlay and AO 2.0 with ROON on a dedicated audio PC I built myself and continue to improve. The PC is connected to Berkeley Alpha USB and DAC 2 to my beautiful CJ ART amps then to Amphion 7L speakers. The FP upgrade was very significant, most noticeable for me in the improvement in microdynamics. The already good soundstage was made simply better defined with more space between instruments as well as musical notes. I’ve been an audiophile since my early teens (AR 3 and Voice of the Theater speakers!) so with over 45 years of listening experience I’ve heard some really good systems. It would take a great deal of money to get much better that what I am currently listening to. Thank you.

Fidelizer Pro configuration with Roon 1.2 update

After Roon 1.2 was launched for a while, some customers asked me about configuration they should set with Roon software. There’re Roon, Roon Server, and Roon Bridge software that can be installed in Windows with Fidelizer. Let’s see how each Roon’s software works with Fidelizer.

Roon – Main software that acts like media player software with cutting-edge UI. If you play music from network such as Tidal or NAS, I recommend “Network Player” audio profile. Otherwise, I recommend “Audio Player” for playing local music in computer.

Roon Server – Library server that allows music to be accessed from other devices through streaming. I recommend “Streamer” audio profile as the optimal choice for library server machine. If you use Roon Server as headless music server with Roon Remote, please configure as Roon instead.

Roon Bridge – This will run on background turning any Windows PC into Roon Ready device for streaming. I recommend “Network Render” audio profile for most suitable configuration of Roon ready device.

Let me wrap up again about Fidelizer Pro’s audio profile for each Roon software:

Roon – Network Player / Audio Player
Roon Server – Streamer / Network Player / Audio Player
Roon Bridge – Network Render

Seeing how Roon Bridge works, I can see a lot Roon ready products coming in years ahead. 🙂

Improved PayPal checkout supports all credit cards now

Yesterday I received a message from customer that he couldn’t use his credit card to pay for Fidelizer 7 Upgrade. So, I checked my PayPal account and found that it wasn’t updated to Business account yet after selling Fidelizer for almost two  years. What a blunder.

Now I’ve upgraded my PayPal account to business account support more payment methods. Now Fidelizer should accept all credit cards and PayPal credit too. 😉
