Experiment about hidden improvement from Fidelizer 7.5 update

As I posted before in Plus/Pro users about Fidelizer update, I only fixed music player application selection bug which took me a while to figure out which method will handle the unexpected cases better. However, there’s also another change I didn’t inform anyone before. Well, to be honest, I don’t expect it to have clear improvement so I didn’t write it down.

When I was releasing version 7.4, I uninstalled FIdelizer Pro to do some tests about permission problems to support customers. But when I was about to release version 7.5, I reinstalled Fidelizer CAS which is a special version developed for Fidelizer Nimitra. So software will be compiled and packaged from Fidelizer optimized machine.

After a few customers reported the improvement in version 7.5, I was convinced that Fidelizer can also benefit from optimizations before performing code generation too. I did inform one customer saying Windows 10 update might improve itself too but he told me he also tested reverting back to version 7.4 and still found 7.5 sounding better.

That makes me wonder if audio player software will sound better if they have Fidelizer on his machine before compiling. That’d be interesting to find out. 🙂

Added testimonial from John Endicott

Here’s a new feedback today. This time it comes from customer who uses both Windows and OS X devices.

Hi,

Firstly I would like to say I have been using Fidelizer for some time now and moving into the pro version a short while back. It does everything you say to major sonic advantage. I run many audio systems both Windows and OS X based in my listening room.

Regards
John

P.S Keep the good work up.

If free version works for you, Pro version will give you major sonic advantage for sure. 🙂

Fidelizer receives Positive Feedback Writers’ Choice 2016 Award

Positive Feedback Writers' Choice Award 2016 for Fidelizer

Last week I was informed that Fidelizer will receive Positive Feedback Writers’ Choice Award 2016 by Larry Cox. Yesterday I received the image for public announcement so I’m posting it here today. You can read the definition of this award below.

The following is an opportunity for our editors and writers to recognize superior merit in the audio arts though their “Writers’ Choice Awards”. Our writers and reviewers have been given broad leeway to cite excellence in fine audio wherever they find it: products, people, recordings, events, groups, etc., so that our readers can be better informed.

It is our hope that you will find the PF Writers’ Choice Awards to be helpful to you in your audio journey.

All the best,

Positive Feedback

Larry Cox didn’t review Fidelizer Pro but he nominated Fidelizer for this award out of his own interests as an audiophile. He also ended the message with “thank you for making Fidelizer” and that was very encouraging.

Please don’t forget to read the Fidelizer Pro review by Tom Gibbs too. The award is big news but good review is also important too 🙂

Added testimonial from Rolf Schumacher

Here’s another feedback today. I also received his feedback after delivery version 7.5 update.

Hello,
thanks for the update. Look forward installing the new version. I was really surprised about the results using the former one. It sounds better in contradiction to some comparisons to be found in the internet.

Thanks
Rolf

I used to hear no difference before too so it’s not surprising if some people can’t appreciate free version, yet. 🙂
