Nimitra Computer Audio Server now supports both 32/64-bit architecture

Nimitra was built in 32-bit architecture for preferred sonic performance with smaller footprints. After selling Nimitra for a while, there’s some applications especially in Pro Audio market that require 64-bit operating system to function such as Merging devices.

Now we’ve launched 64-bit support allowing customer customer to choose between 32-bit and 64-bit architecture before ordering. If you don’t need 64-bit support, you may choose 32-bit for developer’s preferred sonic performance.

You can order Nimitra Computer Audio Server and choose which version you prefer to use. Nimitra also receives Greatest Bits award from AudioStream recently so feel free to ask any question about the product.

Nimitra Computer Audio Server receives AudioStream’s Greatest Bits Award

Today AudioStream has published a review for Nimitra Computer Audio Server, the first physical hardware product from Fidelizer. I’m very excited in this month because there’s a few reviews about Nimitra rolling out in this month.

The first ones in this month was written Mr. Steven Plaskin, Fidelizer supporter since early days. He kindly accepted my review request about Nimitra despite being so busy for months. It took a while but he eventually published Nimitra review in good timing before X’Mas.

There’s a bit of pieces about sound impressions from Nimitra here and there in his review so I recommend to read Fidelizer Nimitra Computer Audio Server review as whole article with good music. Here’s one of interesting parts he mentioned about Nimitra’s sound quality.

Nimitra used my MSB Technology USB ASIO driver for full support of PCM files up to 24/384kHz and DSD256. Function was flawless and the sound was excellent. Nimitra just sounded smooth and rich with the Analog DAC. I felt the overall sound was easy to listen to for extended periods and was most definitely superior to what I could achieve with an unmodified OS PC or Mac. Overall detail and focus were first-rate with the Nimitra. In some ways, the Nimitra reminded me of the Playback Designs Syrah Server in terms of its excellent playback qualities.

In my surprise, this review comes with unexpected bonus. Nimitra receives AudioStream’s Greatest Bits award. It’s the first award I received for Nimitra product. Receiving award means a lot to infamous product owner like me. It could be one of my best X’Mas present since founding Fidelizer. 🙂

Added testimonial from Eugene (JPLAY)

Here’s another feedback today. It’s an honor to receive such praise from enthusiasm audiphile using JPLAY Dual PC setup.

Hi Keetakawee,

Thank you for sending me the download link for my copy of Fidelizer Pro.
I downloaded the software and installed it into my AUDIO PC this morning without any problems and the product is running fine.
The result is pretty spectacular.
1. Instruments are clearer and more distinctly separated from each other.
2. The words that the singer is singing are clearer.
3. Some Singers “reverberate” their voice a bit when singing the last note. With Fidelizer this “reverberation” of the voice becomes more noticeable.
4. Wider and deeper soundstage
5. Overall sound doesn’t have that Digital ‘sharpness” to it any more, especially with KPOP and JPOP songs.
6. Interestingly, the PC seems to run faster.

I have been tweaking my Computer Audio setup for a few years. I am running JPLAY in a dual-PC Setup with MinimServer and Kazoo. O/S is Windows 8.0 for both Control and Audio PC’s.
I have been following Fidelizer for the past 2 years in the various forums. I considered it t be an “enhancement” for Computer Audio so I had been postponing the purchase all this time while I tweaked my PC’s.
After I installed Fidelizer Pro this morning in my Audio PC I realised that I made a big mistake. Fidelizer isn’t an “enhancement”. The results produced by it are so major that it actually needs to regarded as one of the “cornerstones” of building an Audio PC and should actually be compulsory to be installed at the very beginning of the build !

Anyway I have just put in an order for another copy of Fidelizer Pro – this time for my Control PC.

Thanks for producing such an amazing piece of Software !

Best regards,
Eugene

For audiophile who treats Fidelizer as an enhancement, I hope this feedback will help understanding Fidelizer better.

Fidelizer in Athens Highend Show 2016 Report

Athens Highend Show went well last week. Philippe sent me his pictures few days ago and also shared his exciting story below.

Fidelizer in Athens Highend Show 2016 - 1

A lot of enthusiastic people. The ifi sales guys were saying this show is way better than anything they have in the UK. The dac and the R3 went well.

On the software side we had a shout out with the best analog gear in the world and they thought they would humiliate us and they were extremely impressed: the told us that it was one of the finest digital gear they had heard and when the total cost of the source including PC was 2000 euros compared with a 40000 turntable + phono stage. Well, what an optimized pc+good usb cleaning+mushichi player could do especially at this price.

We [including Fidelizer] are pioneers: in the high end community the fact that a pc can be a better source for audio than  all this expensive hardware has not yet sank into the mentalities a lot of didactic work is needed.

I think if I can build a presence in the finest audio shop [having their pc setup and optimized with banners ] will help a lot.

The latter part sounds like a good idea to me if you ask me. I wonder how to make audiophiles in general accept new computer-based solutions as mainstream. If mainstream audiophiles were like 90s, I’m sure a lot of famous computer engineers will be hired to build highend music servers, found his own companies and sell off later to China by now. 😀
