Added testimonial from Hermann Schmidt

Here’s a new feedback today. He sent me his feedback on elaborated setup with interesting stuff and easy to follow as below.

Hi,

I’ve done some tests yesterday and it took only a few minutes to realize that Fidelizer works great! I’m running JPlay&Streamer on a Zotac ZBox Intel i3 machine with W10. It feeds a Benchmark DAC2 via USB across an iFi USB Power device. Music files are on a NAS.

The improvements are everywhere. In a few words I would call it more crisp, clear, and transparent. All the attributes that audiophiles love 🙂 The amount of change is about the same as or even higher than one gets from changing speaker cables from dirt cheap to good ones.

And the upshot is that a fidelized W10 now sounds better than W2012 server. This makes my life easier.

Cheers!

I’m happy to hear to that Fidelizer bring sound quality improvements as much as serious speaker cables upgrade. 🙂

Fiio X7ii added to Fidelizer Purist ROM repository with a quantum leap optimizations!

Portable Products

I’ve been receiving requests about Fiio X7ii Purist ROM for a while. As we learned past experience that first release will often come with bugs to be resolved so I waited until version 1.0.1 shipped out first then Purist ROM will follow and it’s finally here.

-Based on official Fiio X7ii 1.0.1 ROM
-Deodexed
-Apollo – Fidelity Edition from https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/apollo-music-player-fidelity-edition-t3038629 included
-build.prop tweaks for better video and storage performance and improve battery life
-bundled audio effects removed but keep main engine (Poweramp works now)

Nimitra Computer Audio Server receives Stereophile’s Class B Recommended Components Fall 2017

Stereophile's Recommended Components: Fall 2017 Edition

Do you still remember the great excitement I shared here in July? Nimitra was reviewed by Stereophile in July and I thought that’d be the biggest achievement of the year. And today I’d like to share joyous event that Nimitra is now included in Stereophile’s Class B Recommended Components!

Nimitra is the first hardware product from Fidelizer, introduced in 2016 without so much of marketing. I told myself that some days Fidelizer products will be included in Stereophile’s Recommended Components but I never imagine to have Stereophile’s Class B product in first year.

I’m very thankful to Mr. Kal Rubinson who contacted me for reviewing Nimitra as multi-channel server in Stereophile right after seeing Mr. Steven Plaskin’s review in AudioStream. I’m so fortunate to receive so much support from passionate reviewers for all blessings I received in this year.

Fidelizer Nimitra Server: $1395
A fanless implementation of an Intel Celeron J1900 2GHz processor, the Nimitra is the first server from Thailand-based Fidelizer, who specialize in using Windows as a music-playback platform. Measuring only 8.9″ by 7.9″ by 1.7″ and supplied with an outboard power supply (a 12V brick; Fidelizer’s larger and reportedly better Nikola supply is a $495 option), the Nimitra is bundled with dBPoweramp’s Asset UPnP file access and the JPlay app for streaming output—and is, as KR reported, multichannel-compatible. Kal used the Fidelizer Nimitra with his miniDSP uDAC-8 multichannel processor—”setup was almost trivial,” he said—and found the combination “absolutely delightful,” and “easily the equal of” his Mac mini–based server: “Finally, a great-sounding and affordable multichannel server that works with USB or with HDMI!” (Vol.40 No.7 WWW)

I wish I could have provided better support during Nimitra review with exaSound e38. I’ve published testimonial from Nimitra customer using exaSound e38 for multi-channel audio. Thanks to experience I gained during review, I could support real customer better. 🙂

Added Nimitra+Nikola feedback from Mike Covher

Here’s another feedback today from Fidelizer Nimitra+Nikola customer in USA. He shared his feedback after replacing his Nikola with upgraded version.

Powering Nimitra and the exaSound e38 DAC with the customized Nikola power supply indeed sounds GREAT!
I’m in complete agreement with Steve Plaskin’s assessment of the Nikola / exaSound DAC combination; it is transformative! Nikola transported the sound quality to another level and I’ll add that it is a quantum leap!
And now with my original Nikola powering the Western Digital HDD, my system is completely free of the contamination caused by switching power supplies.

Thank you for your awesome contribution to my enjoyment of music of all kinds.

All the best,
Mike Covher

I was so close to have Nimitra+Nikola review with exaSound e38 in Stereophile. It’d have been awesome. 🙂

Added testimonial from Earl Helm

Here’s a new feedback today. He sent me his feedback after receiving Fidelizer Pro license on Teamviewer.

I’m glad to hear Fidelizer bringing fantastic sound quality improvements in his system. 🙂
