Last year, some people asked me why Fidelizer didn’t make any Black Friday campaign and I was like…..What is Black Friday? No kidding. I’m not into shopping and never bother with discount campaigns before so I didn’t know about Black Friday until they asked me last year.

Added PerfectDynamics Sound Optimizations for iBasso DX50/80/90 Fidelizer Enhanced/Advanced ROM

Fidelizer - PerfectDynamics Sound Optimizations

For new users, please read about PerfectDynamics Sound Optimizations first for new improvements with Fidelizer ROMs.

I tried to update Fidelizer ROMs for these products since last month but it was very time consuming to update 3 units at the same time and there’s other stuff I need to pay attention when I was going to work on these units. iBasso DX100 is also very important to work on too.

Now I’ve finished PerfectDynamics Sound Optimizations for all existing products in website. I’m very glad that I’ve made it this far so I can start working on other DAPs like Calyx M, Onkyo DP-X1A, etc. I didn’t forget them but there’s a lot to work on including DX200 2.7 ROM update.

If you still use good old iBasso DX50/80/90, you can check out Fidelizer Purist ROM first and see. If you’d like to upgrade with PerfectDynamics Sound Optimizations in Enhanced / Advanced ROM, there’ll be a lot of improvements that won’t disappoint those who can appreciate Purist ROM. 🙂

Added X7 Purist ROM feedback from Hans Steffers

Here’s a new feedback today from Fiio X7 user. He shared his feedback about free Purist ROM in Fidelizer’s Facebook page as below.

I’ve installed your Purist ROM on my X7 yesterday and the first listening is very promising. It might be imagination but I hear better instrument/vocal separation and more space. I’ll keep testing. Thanks already for all your effort and bringing this to the X7.

I’m happy to know that my ROM optimizations can improve music enjoyment for portable hifi setup and will continue to do so. 🙂

Added testimonial from Gary Weber

Here’s another feedback today. This time it’s from headphile user with a serious setup sharing the same reference headphone as mine.

I have never made a comparison of with/without Fidelizer. There are a couple reasons for this. Fidelizer loads automatically and there is no legitimate switch to easily turn it on or off without uninstalling it, at least as I understand it, and I may be wrong.

Secondly, I am not some golden eared wizard who insists on the best equipment/software/source chain, and tests and compares all the elements so I know I have the best. I am an old gray haired curmudgeon who’s music is centred in North America/Britain during the 60s, 70s and 80s, and some older jazz and classical. I buy moderately high end gear and try and get the best from my gear without sitting around trying to pick the fly shit out of the pepper shaker. I chose to buy Fidelizer after doing some lengthy research. People I respect said positive things about it and I went with it. I am not going to test relentlessly or agonize over the level of improvement. What I do know is when I come home and put my headphones on and turn up some well recorded and engineered music, my smile is very big, and it stays with me a long while. I am happy. Often when I am happy, I don’t care to analyze why, I just enjoy it.

Just for reference, I operate at home (desktop computer) Flac Files → JRiver → Fidelizer → NAD DAC → Woo Audio WA2 with upgraded tubes → Beyerdynamic T1.2 Headphones → Blissful Smile I use good, but not ridiculously expensive cables.

I use the laptop for playing music at the cottage I frequent a number of times through the summer. Flac Files → JRiver → Fidelizer → Audioquest Jitterbug → Micca Origen DAC/ HP Amp → Beyer T1s OR Marshall Killburn Speaker.

Thanks again.

I’m happy to hear feedback about Fidelizer from a serious headphile. Beyerdynamic T1 is also my number one headphone and it will be for a long while. 🙂
