Listened to your modded Amp9. Surely better sound audible in all tracks I’ve heard. The “hardness” of AMP5 disappeared , no harsh at all! Also less power, but for SE846 it’s good enough! Thanks again for your precious help

-Crystal clock is upgraded with high quality clock from Japan with noise reduction tweaks

iBasso DX160 is now added into Fidelizer Purist ROM repository

Since DX160 hit the market, I received a few inquiries about making Purist ROM for iBasso DX160 and today I’ve finished the first Purist ROM for iBasso DX160. I’ll release DX220 ported version with Mango OS later.

-Based on firmware version Oreo 8.1 V1.01.084
–Yalp Store is added as Play Store’s alternative (I still keep Google services for those who want to install Play Store through other means)
-Apollo – Fidelity Edition from https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/apollo-music-player-fidelity-edition-t3038629 included
-MangoPlayer app has optimizations applied
-build.prop tweaks for better video and storage performance and improve battery life
-Audio engine optimized for only audio playback (EQ/Gaplass features work)

Installation Guide

1. Install Rockchip USB driver included in AndroidTool and make sure it shows ‘Found One ADB device’ in AndroidTool software
2. After successfully flashing official ROM, go to Settings > System > About tablet and tap “Build number” for 7 times to enable “Developer options”
3. Tap back arrow to enter “Developer options”, enable “USB debugging”, and press OK
4. Connect DX160 to computer with USB connection in Android mode again and press OK to allow USB debugging
5. Download Disable Verity package and run disable_verity.bat file (You may need to authorize USB debugging and run disable verity again if not reboot)
6. After DX160 boots up properly with Verity disabled, turn off device and connect with USB connection to computer while holding play button
7. Open AndroidTool, click on “Upgrade Firmware” tab, click on Firmware button and select update.img extracted from Purist ROM then click Upgrade

Fidelizer 8.5 released – Improved compatibility with AIMP/AlbumPlayer/Amarra/Audirvana/MusicBee/Winamp and Windows 10 May 2019 Update

Hi. Since releasing version 8.4, I’ve been very busy with a lot of product research and development projects while maintaining Purist ROM updates. Now I finally have time to maintain Fidelizer updates for next release.

Version 8.5 will now support AIMP/AlbumPlayer/Amarra/Audirvana/MusicBee/Winamp software. Plus and Pro version will handle new services added from Windows 10 May 2019 Update too.

After fixing reported bugs after each big update, I can finally keep up with program compatibility and Windows updates on this release. I’ll launch some major new products soon and they’ll be game changer improvements for audiophiles. 🙂

Chord Mojo - Fidelizer Signature Mod

Here’s another feedback today from customer who purchased Advanced ROM on iBasso DX200 before and decided to apply Fidelizer Signature Mod on Chord Mojo.

Hi, just wanted to tell you that the Mojo mod you did for me is exquisite. The Mojo sounds so clear with no harshness at all. Before your mod I thought the Mojo and DX200 were very close in performance and I find the Mojo to be substantially better than the DX200 now. Thank you very much.

I’m happy to hear he loves the improvements with digital transport upgrade on DX200 and DAC upgrade on Mojo. 🙂
