I was told new DX200 ROM is out now but allow me to release this first. In my early days of Android ROM optimizations, I got a chance to try optimizing DX100 ROM for my client once but couldn’t get the optimized ROM working due to my inexperience.
I recently got another chance to try on iBasso DX100 firmware again. Now I know more about Android and Linux so I can optimize both boot and system image without corrupting it. DX100 is quite slow with Gingerbread and Fidelizer Purist ROM helps a lot.
After modifying DX100 firmware, the client himself told me he’ll apply Fidelizer Ultimate Mod for completed hardware upgrade next. I also modified AK380Cu last week and have few more DX200, AK380Cu and Opus#2 to work on so this will take a while. 🙂
-Based on firmware version 1.4.2
-build.prop tweaks for better video and storage performance and improve battery life
-Audio engine optimized for only audio playback (EQ/Gaplass features work)
-Bundled audio effects removed but keep main engine (Poweramp works now)

Installation Guide
You can copy update.img file into internal storage and flash ROM through system update as stock ROM. You can also flash from recovery menu by following the instructions below.
1. Extract update.img file to DX100’s micro SD card slot
2. Turn off DX100
3. Press and hold power and volume up buttons until device vibrates, release buttons after seeing boot screen showing up
4. After boot screen you should be able to access recovery menu. Select “apply rkimage from /sdcard” option to flash Fidelizer Purist ROM
5. Select “reboot system now” after flashing Fidelizer Purist ROM

I must say, this is really an improvement. I run an Altec A7 bi-amplified horn system with single ended triode amplifiers. It is extremely revealing. I listen to classical/opera. Solo voice is an extreme test.
Your software made an improvement that is startling. I’m very impressed. I will move on to your best software package shortly.Thank you so much.

Fidelizer received Positive Feedback Writers’ Choice 2016 Award by Mr. Larry Cox’s nomination last year. After launching Nimitra Computer Audio Server, I contacted Mr. Larry Cox asking if he’s interested in reviewing Nimitra.
He told me he wasn’t sure if he can review it since computer audio isn’t something he’s familiar with and he’s using DSD only DAC which could be tricky to setup with Nimitra. With Teamviewer remote support, he can leave configuration parts to me.
He also reviewed Nikola linear power supply together with Nimitra too. It doesn’t have WOW effect being so neutral so it may take a while to shine in some systems. I’m glad to hear Nikola grew wonderfully in this review with Nimitra.
Keetakawee Punpeng of Fidelizer has put together a fine machine. The Nimitra is transparent in the ways that are good—letting the signal through seemingly unmolested, without being transparent in ways that are not good—lean, bleached or neutered. I think Punpeng has largely achieved his goal of a turnkey operation. Keetakawee provides the service you’re likely to need, does it quickly and so deftly removed most of my concerns about buying a computer from someone in another country.
In the interest of being thorough rather than hopeful, I reinserted the Nikola linear power supply. Ohhhhh, wow, this time the Nikola was a welcome and noticeable addition. The most obvious changes were in the lower midrange, imparting a welcome bit of warmth and emotional content. There were more musical interludes that occurred as beautiful. This was clearly better than previous iterations. Keep in mind that this review, as with probably every other review, accentuates differences to make a point. The sound was very nice without the Nikola, but the Nikola added a dollop of more that was desirable. And yet, there was room for more.
I’d like to thank Mr. Larry Cox again for nominating Fidelizer for Writers’ Choice Award and kindly review Nimitra and Nikola again. I hope this will help audiophiles realize computer audio can have good sound and after sale services like Nimitra. 🙂

It sounds so fucking good that if it had came with reasonable duration not limited by hardware upgrades it would be a “no brainer” (which coincidentally also describes people who implemented it) for any audiophile.
Only after i run fidelizer (free) for the first time i realized how tired the sound made me. I was wondering in what other dimensions software could possibly make further improvement to SQ, then i got surprised again mainly because i was expecting something else.
I’m happy to know that Fidelizer leaves great impressions on him. He also tested free version before purchasing too.
